Guest License Agreement
CHECK IN TIME IS 4:00 P.M. Please do not arrive at the property before your scheduled check-in time. Harbourside III reserves the right to move your reservation to a similar villa without penalty due to unforeseen circumstances such as a maintenance issue. Harbourside III is offered on a self-catering basis. Bed linen and towels are provided. Basic toiletries are provided for only one night. You will need to buy toilet paper, paper towels, dishwasher and clothes soap, along with other products at the local grocery store. Rates include a one-time linen and towel set-up. For your convenience, a starter kit is provided to hold you over until your grocery store visit. You’ll have: 1 roll of paper towels, 4 kitchen trash bags, 1 dish soap, 4 dishwasher detergent tabs, 1 clothes detergent, 1 facial tissue per bathroom, 3 trash liners per bathroom, 2 soaps per bathroom, 1 shampoo, 1 conditioner and 1 lotion per bathroom and 2 toilet tissue rolls per bathroom. King or queen beds and sleeper sofas will have 2 terry bundles each containing 2 bath towels, 1 hand towel and 1 washcloth. Each twin bed will have 1 bundle. Pool towels are not provided and bath towels may not be removed from villas for use at the pool. Please report any housekeeping or maintenance deficiencies to staff on the next business day. Leave a message if there is no answer. No considerations will be given if we are not notified in a timely way.
CHECK OUT TIME IS 10:00 AM. Unless pre-approved by the office, late check-out will result in a fine of $100 plus tax. Guests are to dispose of trash responsibly throughout their holiday. Excess trash left in the villa following departure may result in an excess trash fee of $75 plus tax. Please place soiled towels in the tub/shower. Soiled dishes should be loaded into the dishwasher. If you still have a detergent tablet, please run through a dishwashing cycle. Floors should be in generally good condition and ready to be vacuumed by our housekeepers. The refrigerator should be clean and free of food. All Keys must be returned to the key box below the check-in cabinet. Failure to return all keys may result in a fine of $60 plus tax. The minimum fee for damage due to negligence or carelessness is $100.
NOT PERMITTED ARE: motorcycles, campers, boat trailers, motor homes, comfort (emotional support) animals and pets. If unauthorized animals are discovered, they must be removed from the property immediately. The fine for unauthorized animals is $250.00 per day and $250.00 deep cleaning fee. With advanced notice and proper ADA documentation, ADA service animals are permitted. Please notify the office and we will forward you appropriate forms. Smoking is prohibited in Harbourside III Villas. Evidence of smoking in villas will result in a $250 deep clean fee.
GUEST AGREES to hold HarbourSide III POA harmless from all personal injuries that may result to the Guest(s) or invitees of the Guest(s) when using the property, the pool/hot tub or any other amenities related to the property.
THE NUMBER OF PERSONS permitted to occupy the premises is restricted to two per bedroom plus two per queen sofa bed. The primary occupant may not be under the age of 21.
GATED PARKING is limited to one permitted vehicle per villa. Additional permits may be purchased in advance for extra vehicles to park overnight in the overflow lots outside the gate.
MANAGEMENT RESERVES THE RIGHT TO ENTER the premises for repair, maintenance, pest control or to inspect damages.
HARBOURSIDE III POA is not responsible for money, jewelry or other valuables lost, stolen or left behind by owners or guests.
RESERVATIONS: There must be a credit card attached to each reservation. A deposit of 50% is due at booking. Full payment is due 30 days prior to arrival. The credit card associated with your reservation will be used to process the balance due unless another form of payment is received prior to that time.
CANCELLATIONS:must be in writing no less than 30 days prior to arrival date and will forfeit reservation fee and 5% of base rental rate. Travel Insurance is encouraged. NO REFUNDS issued within 30 days of arrival date. Local, State or Federal Executive Orders restricting occupancy or travel at Hilton Head, including but not limited to hurricane evacuation or pandemic, will waive the no refund policy as follows:
In-house reservations: All unused nights will be refunded. All occupants must vacate the premises.
Future reservations falling within the known dates of an EO will be canceled without penalty.
